Mobile Bar Rental in Los Angeles

A real bar, delivered to your venue and staffed by people who know how to work it. Sip Solution rents a fully self-contained mobile bar across Glendale and Greater Los Angeles — set up before your guests arrive, broken down after the last pour, and stocked with everything except the bottles you buy yourself.

What actually shows up

A mobile bar rental is easy to picture as a piece of furniture, but the furniture is the least interesting part. What arrives is a working bar: the bar structure itself, the glassware, the ice, the mixers, the fresh garnishes cut for your menu, the napkins, the shakers and strainers and jiggers — and the licensed bartenders who turn all of it into drinks.

That distinction matters when you compare quotes. A furniture rental leaves you sourcing ice at 2pm on the day of your party and wondering who is going to cut forty limes. We quote the whole bar as one thing because that is how it has to work on the night.

What we bring, what your venue provides

Most hosts are surprised by how little we need from the space. Here is the split:

We bringYou or the venue provide
The bar, set up and broken downA level spot and a clear path to carry it in
Glassware, napkins, bar toolsThe alcohol, bought from our shopping list
Ice, mixers, fresh garnishesShade or cover for long outdoor events, if available
Licensed, insured bartendersVenue load-in times and any insurance requirements
Menu design and drink signageYour guest count and a rough timeline

No power, no plumbing, no prep kitchen. If something about your menu or an add-on changes that, we tell you when we quote — not when we arrive.

Where the bar goes

Because the bar is self-contained, the venue list is wide open: backyards and private estates, rooftops, banquet halls, corporate offices, warehouses and pop-up spaces, and more than one living room. Outdoor events are the most common booking we take, and they are also the ones where planning ahead pays — shade, ice, and where the line will form are worth a two-minute conversation before the day.

For venue events we deal with your coordinator directly on load-in windows, service times, and paperwork. For backyard events we bring everything and need only somewhere level to stand.

You buy the alcohol — and keep what's left

We do not resell liquor or mark up bottles. Instead we build a curated shopping list matched to your menu and guest count, so you buy exactly the right products in the right quantities at retail prices, and whatever stays unopened stays with you. Our team handles everything else.

If you already have the alcohol sorted and just need the bar and the professionals to run it, that is our dry-hire option. Either way, every booking is quoted individually — tell us about your event and we'll price the right version of it.

What a mobile bar rental costs in Los Angeles

Published market ranges in LA put a full mobile bar service between roughly $1,200 and $4,500 per event, and individual bartender hires between $350 and $750 per bartender, depending on hours, headcount, and how ambitious the menu is. Our packages sit inside those ranges and are quoted per event rather than off a fixed price list, because a three-hour office happy hour and a seven-hour wedding are not the same job.

We break the whole cost picture down — what drives a quote up, what to ask other vendors, and worked examples at 50, 100, and 150 guests — in our Los Angeles mobile bar cost guide. The packages themselves are on Services & Pricing.

Bar packages, from a patio to a wedding

The Essential Sip Package covers five hours with two custom cocktails plus classic drinks and one bartender — the right size for an intimate gathering. The Signature Sip Package steps up to four custom cocktails, two bartenders, premium glassware, and custom drink signage. The Luxe Sip Package is all-inclusive: six signature cocktails, three bartenders plus a bar manager, themed décor, and a personalized menu.

Two specialty formats sit alongside them — a guided Degustation Experience spirit tasting for groups of 10 to 50, and a Guest Bartender Experience shift with mixologist Manuk Grigoryan.

Licensed, insured, and used to venue paperwork

Our bartenders are licensed, certified specialists and we carry comprehensive insurance. If your venue wants a certificate of insurance before load-in, tell us and we will send it — this is routine for us, and it is worth asking any bar vendor early, because it is the step that most often stalls a booking in the final week.

Mobile bar rental FAQ

What does a mobile bar rental include?

The bar itself, delivered and set up, plus breakdown at the end of the night — and the bartenders to work it. Glassware, ice, mixers, fresh garnishes, napkins, and bar tools are all part of the package. Larger packages add premium glassware, custom drink signage, themed décor, and a printed cocktail menu.

How much space does the bar need?

Our bar is self-contained and fits comfortably in most backyards, patios, rooftops, banquet halls, offices, and even living rooms. We need a level spot with a clear path to carry it in. Send your venue details or a photo of the space with your request and we'll confirm the setup before the day.

Do you need power or running water at the venue?

Usually not. We bring our own ice, water, and everything the bar runs on, so most setups need nothing from the venue at all. If your menu or an add-on does need a nearby outlet, we'll tell you when we quote rather than discovering it on the day.

Can we rent just the bar without bartenders?

Our bar comes staffed — the bartenders behind it are the service, not an upsell. If you already have your own alcohol and simply need professionals to serve it, that's our dry-hire option: we bring the bar, the tools, and the team.

How far will you travel in Los Angeles?

We're based in Glendale and regularly work Burbank, Pasadena, Hollywood, Studio City, Downtown LA, and the rest of Greater Los Angeles. If your venue sits outside our usual radius, send a request anyway and we'll tell you honestly whether we can make it work.

Do you set up indoors and outdoors?

Both. Outdoor events are our most common setup, and we handle indoor venues, rooftops, and tented events just as often. For outdoor bookings, let us know whether there's shade or cover available so we can plan ice and service accordingly.

When do you arrive and how long does setup take?

We arrive well before your guests do and aim to be fully set and polished before the first one walks in. Breakdown happens quietly at the end of service, and we leave the space the way we found it.

Tell us your date and venue — we'll bring the bar to it.
